The Fabric
Sanjana is a stunning neutral embroidered fabric with an antique cream cotton background and pretty floral motifs embroidered in a tonal palette of beige and cafe au lait.
Neutral schemes are calming and striking, but can also be boring and bland. The best way to lift a neutral room is by layering the neutral tones and bringing different textures. Crewel fabric is a great way to add texture, by adding definition to the surfaces of your curtains, blinds or cushions. This neutral embroidered fabric fits into an elegant design by adding depth and colour, but not straying from the neutral palette.
The History
Using a classic tree of life design with folk art floral motifs, trailing vines and curling leaves, Sanjana brings historical credentials into a contemporary design.
Sanjana is a girl’s name of Sanskrit origin meaning ‘gentle’, ‘patient’ and ‘in harmony’; a perfect description for this neutral embroidered fabric.
