Ordering Samples
Samples are provided for information and guidance only. Due to the hand-made nature of this product, Welland & Wye cannot guarantee an exact colour match or pattern repeat.
Returnable samples are free of charge if they are returned within 3 weeks. If samples are not returned within 3 weeks a fee will be charged.
Stock cuttings can be issued with a reservation of fabric. Stock reservations will be automatically cancelled after 10 days.
Making an order
All products are subject to availability. In the event that the goods you have ordered are unavailable within an acceptable timescale, which we will have discussed at the time of order, a full refund will be offered.
Our minimum order quantity for fabric is 1m.
All orders must be confirmed in writing.
Cancellation or amendments of orders must be confirmed in writing. Welland & Wye will endeavour to accommodate your needs unless the fabric has already been cut from stock.
Delivery
We use leading couriers such as FedEx and DHL to collect stock from our warehouse and deliver to your account address on an ‘ex-warehouse’ basis, whereby the risk passes to the buyer on dispatch by independent courier.
Non-delivery of orders must be confirmed in writing within 5 days of the agreed delivery date. Delivery delays beyond the company’s control will not affect the contracted agreement to purchase fabric.
Please inform us of any problem with your order within 3 days of receipt.
Refunds and exchanges
Fabric Lengths: Welland & Wye cannot accept returns or requests for exchange once the material has been cut. Whilst we do check the fabric before dispatch, it is also the purchaser’s responsibility to inspect the fabric on receipt.
Cushions: Goods made to the customer’s specification cannot be cancelled, refunded or exchanged. Ready-made cushions are subject to the following terms and conditions.
Returns will not be accepted without prior agreement in writing and may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%.
Returns must be adequately packaged and protected in transit. Damaged items (in transit or otherwise) will not be accepted. All goods shall remain your responsibility until we receive them.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Our handmade product
Welland and Wye’s fabrics are hand-embroidered and therefore are subject to the vagaries of individual skill and creativity. It’s one of the reasons we love this fabric, but the purchaser is asked to recognise that needle and thread wielded by hand can never match the level of perfection achieved by a piece of machinery.
The suggested uses for our fabric are recommendations only. Its durability will be affected by its application and treatment. Welland & Wye cannot accept claims for any shrinkage or fading caused by any reason or condition.
